Years ago, two of my closest friends found love in Eastern Europe—the Russian Federation and the Ukraine. For both men, these blessed unions have produced years of happiness for them and their international brides. Together with their beautiful wives, they've been blessed with gentle, loving children that are no different than any other children. Sure, they have their "moments", but so do mine and other normal kids!
Both of my friends' wives are intelligent, attractive, personable, and deeply in love with their husbands. Like American women, they enjoy the pleasures of barbeques, shopping, movies, music, and going out. Unless you detected their accents—which slowly fade as time goes by, you'd assume these two wonderful ladies have lived in the states all their lives.
Yet, there are some people who wonder why these beautiful, talented, kind-hearted ladies would become international or mail order brides. The reasons are simple. Before you pass judgment, know the facts:
Eastern European Women outnumber and outlive men (due to rampant alcoholism). As a result, some Eastern European men believe they can mistreat these ladies. Also, many Eastern European women believe they must marry young or face becoming an Old Maid. As a result, these intelligent, maternal women search abroad for a husband.
